Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Salad Dressing/Dip

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ buttermilk or whole milk

  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped (dried will work too)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped (dried will work too)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (dried will work too)

  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon apple cider or white vinegar

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon sea salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 1-3 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:

1.          In a medium bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, dill, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and fresh pepper to taste. For a thicker dressing, add a little more sour cream or mayonnaise. For a thinner dressing, add more buttermilk.

2.         Season to taste, adding more salt if desired. Fold in the dill, chives, and parsley.

3.         Use as a salad dressing or dip! Store dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
