1954 Country Club Martini

The 1954 NBCC Martini is a vibrant, "garden-to-glass" evolution of the mid-century classic. By trading the traditional vermouth for a botanical punch of fresh basil and mint, it bridges the gap between a sharp Martini and a refreshing Southside. It’s crisp, aromatic, and unapologetically bright.

Ingredients:
· A small bunch of mint
· 2 basil leaves
· 1-ounce fresh lime juice, muddled together
· Optional: splash of Tommy’s Margarita Mix or sweet & sour mix
· 3 ounces of vodka (gin is good too!)
· ½ ounce simple syrup or agave
Instructions:
1. Muddle: In a cocktail shaker, muddle the basil leaves, mint leaves, and simple syrup together to release their oils.
2. Combine: Add the vodka and lime juice to the shaker.
3. Shake: Fill the shaker with plenty of ice, cover, and shake vigorously until chilled and frothy.
4. Strain: Strain into a chilled martini or cocktail glass.
*** Shake well and Enjoy! ***
